About us

The N.H.A.G is a focussed community group formed to support horse rider’s needs within the

Shire of Nillumbik and beyond.

Maintaining equitable access for horse riders to the shared recreational trails within the shire is a priority.

We work to promote safe, responsible and respectful trail horse riding both within the reserves and on the roadside verges of Nillumbik Shire.

The N.H.A.G strives to keep our local heritage alive and to encourage healthy, active lifestyles in the process.

Most people understand the importance of behaving responsibly.  Our aim is to preserve the local natural environment and landscape which we appreciate and enjoy and to ensure it’s sustainable & ongoing use.
